The current political, legal and social debate and dilemma over the shooting of Mr. Williams and the loss of his right eye and the lenient sentence handed out to Mr. Nemer is a hot issue in our city of Adelaide.

The victim was accused of stalking or following the girlfriend of the perpetrator of the attack. An attack of revenge and warning that went close to killing the man. Mr. Nemer was released on a good behaviour bond, allowed back into society with a $100 fine. The leniency is partially blamed on the fact that he is from a wealthy and influential family in the city and well connected.

Just as people have destiny and God given purpose, so too cities and nations have destiny and God given purpose. When a city is birthed and founded God has a plan and identity for that city, just as He does for His children and we can often see an indication of that destiny within its industry, demographics and economies. But because the prince of this world robs and destroys, most cities have had their identities stolen and their prophetic purpose distorted and adulterated.

On 16th September, 2001 I had a dream that was vivid, powerful and disturbing. It was only five days after the 9/11 attacks and the horror of it was still very much with me. I believe now is the time to release the dream and the interpretation that God has given me.

In this remarkable and memorable report of the encounter between David and Goliath I have typified the church as Saul, lovers of Christ who operate in grace and freedom as David and the religious spirit as Goliath.

Up until this point in time Israel has been plagued by the Philistines with only the occasional victories, e.g. Samson and Jonathon. The church has experienced the same history – continually being harassed and subjugated by the religious spirit, with the occasional time of deliverance, only to be brought low again. Saul had experienced victories over the Philistines but now was being confronted with their champion – Goliath.

Ephesians 6:10-18
While in prayer I was contemplating the armour of God and in particular the shoes. Suddenly I saw the shoes in my spirit and I saw that they were made of a mercury - like substance – silvery and shiny. The shoes were actually ankle boots. The silvery material they were made of was moving in a rippling, breathing way - alive and with personality!

At a prayer gathering I had a vision which I delivered in song. I believe that now is the time to share it, as we are nearing that time when we will begin to see its outworking.

God shared that He has sent the Holy Spirit out to hover over Adelaide and the nation of Australia. I saw first of all the Holy Spirit moving as a gentle wind, breathing warm, soft fire and any who had a heart to receive was now glowing with that fire. These people have allowed Him to fan into flame their first love, their passion for Jesus. You could easily see the red glow that shone through their bodies. They have not allowed the ‘system’ of church and religion or the cares of this world to quench the fire within their spirits. They have willingly submitted themselves to the dealings and preparations of God. These people can easily be identified by their passion for the Lord.

The Lord declares that you are coming into days of deep repentance - days of deep repentance are coming upon the earth. Great sorrow and mourning, great weeping and repentance will come to the church. The Lord says, do not be surprised at the different ways in which the Lord will lead you.

God spoke to me from the following scripture on Saturday morning, 6th September, 2003. Matthew 3:2-3 “Turn from your sins and turn to God, because the Kingdom of Heaven is near”. Isaiah had spoken of John when he said, “He is a voice shouting in the wilderness, Prepare a pathway for the Lord’s coming! Make a straight road for Him.”

You haven’t seen anything yet. I haven’t even begun. If you could see what is in my heart you wouldn’t believe it. You’ve never seen anything like it. The population of this nation has never seen anything like it.
