Heartfelt repentance

I believe that the Lord our God is calling His Church to repentance – genuine heartfelt repentance. It is possible to resist His drawing in this direction but potentially to our peril.
The Holy name of God has been profaned by the heathen and His glorious body, the Church, has done nothing in response. We have acted like timid lambs and have allowed the Church to be overrun by wolves. Well the Lord is sick of it – He will raise up a royal priesthood, the uneducated but passionate for Him and will make a mockery of the learned. He will confound the wise of this world with the foolishness of His gospel and the uneducated ones he chooses to use.

Signs and wonders will follow the proclamation of the glorious word and the Holy Spirit will once again have His way in the hearts of God’s servants. The time is coming, and now is, where the Church will be purged – many will be ashamed and many will go headlong to destruction. The Lord requires – not desires – He requires genuine repentance.
For a little while longer will He tolerate the impenitent – granting more grace and opportunity for true repentance. He wants heartfelt repentance and genuine tears – weeping and wailing will accompany many who accept His call to true repentance – when we see our sin from His perspective – we should weep and we should wail, then bathe in the blood of the atoning sacrifice - come to the living waters and drink.
God will not be mocked. God will judge – it is His nature, He cannot deny Himself and He changes not. Historically he has judged His people when they turn away from Him – we lie to ourselves if we think all is well and He will not do the same now. He will do the same and He will do it swiftly, but first He will raise up an army – a remnant – the pious will fall away and leave the church.
I see the pews becoming scant, but then the infilling comes of the unlovely and the unloved of those whom the church have rejected for years. They will come in and receive the free gift of grace from the Lord. They will be granted genuine repentance, will pass through the waters of baptism and will be healed of all manner of sickness and delivered of all manner of demons – strongholds and bondages will be destroyed in the name of and by the power of the Lord.
No longer will the name of the Lord be profaned – rather the heathen will know that Jesus Christ is Lord – His remnant will be saved and His heart will be glad because of them. He will call them a people who were not a people and they will be Holy and call upon His holy name day and night – they shall worship Him in Spirit and in truth.
