Sukkot
Hebron
Sukkot is a week long festival of rejoicing. Sukkot is celebrated at the end of the fruit harvest season and celebrates Y’Hovah’s protection over the children of Israel coming out of Egypt and on their journey through the wilderness to the Promised Land. It is a prophetic celebration for us today of the second coming of Yeshua the Messiah and His Millennial Kingdom reign on earth.
Traditionally you would stay in sukkah’s (which are booths or shelters made from various kinds of tree branches), but we are blessed to have a large meeting home to stay in, as well as a large community shelter we have made our sukkah. We share meals together, testimonies, we pray and praise together, listen to teachings from Torah and the apostles writings, have quiz nights and a concert night. There are outdoor activities for young and old. It is a week full of joy and laughter. We are blessed to live a kingdom life, together, for the entire week. A true celebration.
