Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles)
Hebron - 986 Angas Valley Rd, Mt Pleasant
Sukkot is an eight day festival of rejoicing! We spend the week together at Hebron as a community, rejoicing over the Millennial Kingdom to come when Yeshua our Messiah returns. We share meals and testimonies, we enjoy our sukkah (tabernacle) and gardens, we pray and praise together, we share the word and discuss Torah and the apostles' writings. It is a week full of joy and laughter, when are blessed to live a Kingdom life, together, for the entire week. A true celebration!
Sukkot is kept at the end of the fruit harvest season. The first and last days are High Sabbaths. Sukkot celebrates Y’Hovah’s protection over the children of Israel through their journey out of Egypt, through the wilderness to the Promised Land. It is a prophetic celebration for us today of the second coming of Yeshua the Messiah, and His Millennial Kingdom reign on earth.
“So on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruits of the land, you are to keep the Feast of Y'Hovah for seven days. The first day is to be a Shabbat rest, and the eighth day will also be a Shabbat rest. On the first day you are to take choice fruit of trees, branches of palm trees, boughs of leafy trees, and willows of the brook, and rejoice before Y'Hovah your Elohim for seven days. You are to celebrate it as a festival to Y'Hovah for seven days in the year. It is a statute forever throughout your generations—you are to celebrate it in the seventh month. You are to live in sukkot for seven days."
