The power of the name revealed
John emphasises the importance of the name YHVH and its significance in scripture. The name is associated with God's covenant and promises to the Israelites. It carries blessings and power, and using it wrongly brings judgment and dishonor. The speaker warns against worshiping other gods and misrepresenting God's truth. Teachers who spread false teachings will be judged. The speaker also highlights the importance of knowing God's name and his son's name without adding or changing his word.
