The Power and Purpose of His Name

Exodus 3:10-15, 7:1-6 Ezekiel 36:19-23

Y’Hovah has every intention to use Israels captivities and then deliverance's from the hand of every enemy as His major way to reveal His Name, His greatness, power and authority over every other name and god and government in the earth. But exactly who does He reveal Himself as, and by what Name does He want the whole earth to now Him and to call Him?
That’s the purpose of this study!

The first thing He wanted declared to the nation of Israel is that He is the “I AM”. Elohim said to Moses, tell them “I AM has sent me to you.” This is not His Name, it’s more of a title. It is like a statement of who He is and what He is, and how He wants to be known and understood. I am not aware that this designation is used again in the whole of the Tanak (Genesis to Malachi), until you get to the new covenant writers.

I AM is a verb which indicates He is not bound by time or space. It says He is present now as He was with their forefather Abraham, and that He was present before him and before time, and He will always be present, eternally. I always was and I always will be.   This describes and elevates I AM above all else, above everyone and everything else. I have no beginning and no end.

Everything that we know, understand and see was created by the Great I AM. He as the Creator is greater than the universe and everything in it. Without Him nothing exists. Everything that exists, exists in Him and He holds all things together.
We exist, satan exists, good and evil exists only because the great I AM allows it.
He is love, and His love is demonstrated by what He allows and for how long He allows it.  
Everything He is and has created , and everything He allows and for how long He allows it, is bounded by His love, righteousness and coming justice. His perfect righteousness, His perfect hatred, His perfect justice, His perfect truth is all within the bounds of the great I AM’s perfect love.

His Name Is YHVH. (Y’Hovah).
Elohim (God) of Israel has a Name - “Y’Hovah”, and it is connected to many other descriptive titles. Like Y’Hovah Rapha, or Yireh, or Nissi or Shamah. 
All these Names and descriptions are gathered up and contained in the title I AM. Everything that Y’Hovah is, is summed up and encapsulated in the title I AM.
I AM is declaring, that Y’Hovah Elohim was and is everywhere present, and I am everything that is needed by all peoples for every generation and for all eternity. 
Conversely, it also means, that everything that does exist without My will being at the centre of it will cease to exist in a day to come. If anything that man creates, follows, idolises, builds is not part of His Kingdom, it will be consumed in the fires of His coming judgements. I AM spoke by flood in Noah’s day, and will speak by fire soon

Y’Hovah Elohim of Israel Is His Forever Name.
In Exodus 3:15 we read, “You are to say to the children of Israel, Y’Hovah, the Elohim of your fathers….has sent me to you. This is His Name forever and the Name by which I should be remembered from generation to generation.”
Y’Hovah is determined to restore the understanding and use of His Name by all people of all nations. He will elevate His Name above every other god and their names as used by the nations. Isaiah 42:8 says “I am Y’Hovah – that is My Name.” See, Jeremiah 12:14-17; Ezekiel 36:19-23.
Thousands upon thousands of gods are worshiped and prayed to all around the world today. And those who don’t, have eliminated His Name from their vocabulary and belief. 
Christianity has even rejected His Name and His Sons Name for their own substitutes. How great is their loss!
How important is the use and the calling upon the Name!
Joel said, “They that call upon the Name of Y’Hovah shall be saved.”
Yeshua said, “Father, exalt your Name. Then a voice came out of heaven, I have exalted it, and again I will exalt it.”Joh12:28
Again Yeshua says, “I have made your Name known to the men of this world you gave Me. They were Yours; You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word.” John.17:6. 
Again He says, “I am no longer in the world; but they are in the world, and I am coming to You. Kadosh (holy) Father, keep them in Your Name that You have given Me, so that they may be one just as we are. While I was with them I was keeping them in Your Name You have given Me. V11-12.

In Yeshua’s day or age there was no use of Elohims proper name. It was forbidden to pronounce or use and still is today. The Jewish Rabbis’ used the word Adonai or Hashem instead of Y’Hovah because they say it was too sacred to use. So His Name and its importance and its relationship to Yeshua was lost. 
Then Christianity wouldn’t use it either so they substituted His Name with the title LORD or some times GOD. They also gave Yeshua an English name from the Latin and called Him Jesus. It not only defies all convention, but they have removed or hidden Elohim’s proper Name and the proper association of Yeshua’s Name with the Fathers Name. 
Hence the Scripture references above.

The Name of Y’Hovah means the Self Existent One or the Eternal.   The Name Yehoshua, which the shortened version is Yeshua, was the Name given Him by the angel to Mary. It was what Elohim wanted Him to be called.  He was a Jewish boy with a Jewish Name with a Jewish or Hebrew meaning and with connections to YHVH relationally and theologically.
Both of these connections have been lost because of Christian translators and theologians. Just as satan wanted. 
Yehoshua or Yeshua means – Y’Hovah saves or Y’Hovah is salvation.  And this Name is meant to carry the understanding that Yeshua came as Y’Hovah our Saviour. 
Hence Joel, then Peter, then Paul all said, that “They who call upon the Name of Y’Hovah shall be saved.”
Acts 2:19-21;  Romans 10:11-13. 
Here both Peter and Paul quote Joel as in speaking of Yeshua. The undeniable inference or direct association is that Yeshua is Y’Hovah Elohim manifest in the flesh. 
This is difficult for Christians to get their heads around because they were brought up and taught the doctrine of the Trinity, just as they were taught the doctrine of the Rapture and its pre-tribulation theory or man made doctrine.
In John 17:10 Yeshua says “Everything I have (I AM) belongs to You, and everything You have belongs to Me”
John 14:8-16. If you have seen Me you have seen the Father.
John 10:24-33. Yeshua says the Fathers hand and My hand are one in power and authority, and that the Father and I are one. 
Then the leaders of the day are about to stone Him because He,   Yeshua was making Himself God. That’s exactly who He is.
They understood the truth of what He was declaring, why don’t we? Because of false and deceptive teachers, emanating from Roman Catholic doctrine of the Trinity and perpetuated by Protestantism.   Matthew 1:19-23. Emmanuel. (Elohim with us)
Yeshua said – Father “I was keeping them in Your Name You have given Me” They both have the same Name!
In Matthew 28:18-19, Yeshua said to His disciples,  “all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them into -not in the Name of the Father and the Son and the Ruach HaKodesh.”   They all have the same Name because they are the same Person. This is the great I AM revealing Himself as YHVH as Father, YHVH as Son, YHVH as Ruach HaKodesh.
I AM Is A Triangle Not A Trinity.  Ex 3:14-15, Math 28:19.

El Shaddai – the Almighty, the I AM – whose Name is Y’Hovah reveals Himself in these three ways.

• In the beginning when He created Adam and Eve, He revealed Himself as Y’Hovah Father, Giver of Life, Creator. He met with them in the cool of the evening.
• In Abraham’s day and others, He came as the Angel of Y’Hovah.
• Then, when the nation of Israels time had come to see the truth about the Kingdom of Heaven and to meet their Messiah, Redeemer and Saviour, He revealed Himself as Yeshua the Son
• Then when Yeshua returned to Heaven, all the world still needed to know and experience the great I AM. So He comes among us and indwells us as Ruach HaKodesh. Ruach (breath, spirit, life source) was seen as a Dove, and as fire and wind. 
  When Y’Hovah, the great I AM wants to make Himself known, or reveal Himself to mankind, He must take on whatever form is necessary for the age or era which is in focus.
  Y’Hovah is Spirit but reveals Himself in real, tangible forms.

If all of this is true, then Yeshua must be the I AM of eternity.
Yeshua The Eternal I AM.  
We will look at what Yeshua says about Himself.

John 8:21-24, 28, 52-59, 14:6-7.
Here Yeshua refers to Himself as the I AM. 
The words “He” and “who” are not in the original texts, they are put in their by translators so that it makes sense to them in supporting the Trinity doctrine. But Yeshua is calling Himself the I AM, the Eternal One, the only One. The way the truth the life into the Kingdom of the Father is only through I AM.
Matthew 14:22-33.
In verse 27 Yeshua says, “Take courage! I AM. Don’t be afraid.
I AM rules and has all authority in Heaven and on the earth. When life throws its fury and storms at you – I AM is there.
John 1:1-4, 10-18.
These verses speak the same language, tell the same truth.
John is not teaching a doctrine called the Trinity here. For there is no such word used in Scripture anywhere, and no such doctrine exists in Scripture, it is a man made dogma.
Psalm 24:1-10
Never forget, the Earth and all of creation is Y’Hovahs’.
Genesis 1 tells us who the creator was and why the earth and mankind was created. All things will be restored to their original purpose. The Kingdom of Heaven will once again be re-established here on earth. This will only happen when Y’Hovah the Creator, El Shaddai - the Almighty I AM returns to earth as Y’Hovah Yeshua at His second coming. 

All of humanity will bow the knee to Yeshua Y’Hovah, our God and Redeemer. He wants His Name and His person to be known, understood and used with meaning. 

Every religion and their false gods are known by their names and worshipped as such. There are millions in the world today. Y’Hovah wants His Name known as the only true Name, true Elohim of Israel and to be proclaimed through out the earth. 
This is the Name to be called upon in salvation. 
Y’Hovah Yeshua our Saviour and Messiah, coming King.
